False tongues protect the leather under the laces, your leg from brush, twigs or sticks and help with proper spacing of the leg uppers. You can purchase extra false tongues as a backup for the ones included with your boots, or purchase some in different colors for adding variety to the color of your boots. Our false tongues come in pairs in a standard length of 7".
