Special Fit Uppers: Explained

For Custom Uppers, we offer two options:

Upper Upgrade: This is when we go up 1 standard standard size to accommodate the fit and proper lacing

• This option is: $35

Special Uppers: This is when we use leg measurements at every 2" increment up the leg to create a custom pattern. They are hand cut, based upon your very specific leg measurements.

• This option is: $100

If it is determined special fit uppers are recommended for your boots, specific measurements will be required. If being fit in store we will do the precision measurements. If choosing to submit a fitsheet, and your measurement doesn't match the standard cut for the boot you ordered, or the size of your calves differ from one another, a special upper fee will apply. This is because of the process of how we cut the leather for the part of the boot that wraps around your leg and affects the spacing between the lacing. When the sizes differ from the standard, it requires precision cuts so you get the most accurate fit possible.

If fit in store, we will discuss with you if this is necessary. If a fit sheet is sent, we will process your fitsheet and contact you by phone to verify the measurements and confirm the price difference for the precision fit you need before your final total is calculated. This may be different than the amount you have already been charged in your online purchase. If it is determined that you require an upper upgrade or special upper, we will never charge you for this without contacting you to confirm measurements and make the unique leather cuts to build your custom boot.
