Find Your Fit — Franks Boots Sizing Guide

Our in-stock boots are handcrafted for durability and comfort, using the same quality materials as our custom builds. Because they follow a standard size scale, it’s important to measure properly before ordering.

Why It Matters

  • Hand-built construction can fit differently than standard shoes.
  • Proper measurements ensure best comfort and performance.
  • No time to visit our Spokane showroom? You can measure at home.

Step 1: Measure Foot Length

You’ll need:

  • Blank sheet of paper
  • Thin-barrel pen
  • Cloth (tailor’s) measuring tape
  • A helper

Instructions:

  1. Wear your boot socks.
  2. Sit upright with knees at 90°.
  3. Place paper under foot, flat on floor.
  4. Mark tip of longest toe and back of heel (1-inch vertical lines).
  5. Measure distance between marks using cloth tape.
  6. Repeat for the other foot.

Step 2: Measure Foot Width

  1. Sit with foot flat on the floor.
  2. Have your helper slide the tape under the ball of your foot.
  3. Align tape:
    • Inside: at big toe joint
    • Outside: behind pinky toe bone
  4. Wrap tape snugly (not tight) around ball of foot.
  5. Record circumference. Repeat for other foot.

Step 3: Find Your Size

  • Select your foot length from the dropdown.
  • Select your foot width (ball-of-foot measurement).
  • We’ll show your recommended size and width for in-stock boots.
  • Note: Sizes may vary slightly depending on the last used.
