Natural leather conditioning oils, beeswax, and propolis are blended to create Obenauf's Oil formula for preserving boots, apparel, furniture, saddles, tack, belts, holsters, and more. Excellent for conditioning oil-tanned leathers, especially during the hot, dry summer months to keep leather hydrated. Obenauf's Oil will keep your leather supple, to avoid cracking, and enrich the natural color achieved during the tanning process. How to apply Obenauf's Oil:

The recommended approach is to apply one treatment at room temperature. Wait a few minutes but no longer than 1 hour for proper absorption, and buff to remove any excess oil. You may apply a second application. Do Not Saturate.

Test first in a small, inconspicuous area to be sure you are pleased with the effect. Your leather may darken. Migration of oil through all fiber layers may take 7 days to show actual final color. Penetration will vary as leather density varies considerably in different areas due to thickness, dryness, and texture. Also, absorption depends on what finish has been put on the leather and what products have been applied previously.

Apply Leather Oil every three to six months using the provided dauber applicator. For larger items use a clean cloth. Allow to absorb for a few minutes, then buff off excess with cloth. When treating furniture, apparel, or larger items, work from one corner and gradually cover the entire surface with an equal amount of oil. Not recommended for suede and if color change is a concern.

YOU UNDERSTAND THAT:

  • All returns will be considered upon inspection and at our sole discretion, on a case-by-case basis. If it is found that the boots have been worn outside or deemed in “used” condition, they may qualify as non-returnable. A 20% processing/service fee is charged on all Frank’s Boots. All returns must be in new, unworn condition with original packaging and sales receipt within 30 days. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.
  • If it is found to be a result of material or workmanship flaws, we will guarantee it for a period of up to 1 year from the purchase date. We do not warranty boots damaged by fire, or other natural elements, or normal wear and tear.
  • We cannot guarantee the comfort of a safety toe boot, as we purchase steel and composite inserts from a third-party supplier, so any rubbing or contact in the toe box is not covered by our warranty. Please contact us with your concerns and we will determine what repairs are necessary.
  • Every handmade boot is completely individual based upon the natural flaws and beauty of the hide. Our hides are extensively tanned in process of becoming ready to use, Franks is limited in our ability to guarantee variations in consistency and imperfections present in the natural leather. This includes variances in leather color, the cleanliness of lighter colored hides and imperfections, such as slight blemishes present in natural leather. Natural streaking, texturing, and isolated discoloration are not covered under our warranty policy.
